Olympic Opening Ceremonies fall on Friday, February 12th igniting the flame in downtown Vancouver, BC for the XXI Winter Olympics !
Two days later, XC Ski action begins at the Whistler Olympic Park (WOP). Totally thrilled to be on-site at WOP, Dirk and I will be able to offer you "trackside" updates from the snow at Callaghan Valley.
Dirk has quite an important role, as Chief of Course preparation. His team of 12 groomers will be working around the clock to ensure "perfect" ski conditions for Skate and Classic events.
Claudia is one of 45 course marshals - fancy word for the best 'seats' in the house !
Together we will be bringing you information not necessarily available through regular media. If you have specific questions - we may be able to get answers - so send us your comments too !
